Graphics Portfolio

Hey there!

My name is AlleC, I am a graphic designer, illustrator and owner of Little Luxuries loft! If you're new here and looking for printable designs you'll find the Little Luxuries Loft designs under the Shop tab.

On this page I wanted to curate some of my recent personal graphic projects. You may notice the style of these pieces is different from my more whimsical Little Luxuries Loft designs but that's the best part of being a designer, getting to experiment with all kinds of styles! My background creating graphics for television spurred a love of packaging and surface design. I wanted to further explore hand lettering and illustration which are my favorite aspects of design.

Craft Beer Label

This label design was a portfolio project I worked on earlier this year. The brief was from Briefbox.com, the project objective was to create a craft beer label for a hip and urban craft brewery. I wanted the label to be decorative and highlight the hand lettered logo. I started with a pencil sketch and proceeded with pen and ink. I then refined the design in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Coffee Label

This cup design was also for a portfolio project I worked on earlier this year. The brief was from Briefbox.com, the project objective was to create a coffee cup design that featured coffee themed illustrations. I wanted to experiment with positive and negative space to give the design sharp contrast. I started with a pencil sketch and proceeded with pen and ink. I then refined the design in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Laundry Bag Surface Design

I created this design for a Threadless design competition. I wanted to create a trendy hand lettering and floral design to go on a laundry bag. I started with a pencil sketch and completed the design in Adobe Illustrator.

Macaroons Book Cover

This book cover was also for a portfolio project I worked on earlier this year. The brief was from Briefbox.com, the project objective was to create a book for a bakery wanting to show case their new macaroons collection. I wanted to make the design bright and whimsical. I started with a pencil sketch of the macaroons and then painted them in Adobe Photoshop. I then added the hand lettered title and a backdrop

Flora and Fauna Logo

This floral logo design was for a portfolio project I worked on earlier this year. The brief was from Briefbox.com, the project objective was to create a floral design for a cosmetics company based in the Greek Islands. The design had to feature flora and fauna from that region. I painted the floral design with watercolors and then over-layed hand lettering of the brand name. I then refined the design
in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Vintage Cigarette Boxes

These vintage cigarette box designs were prop designs for a short film I worked on in entitled, ‘Send Us Smokes.’ The designs had to be authentic to the 1920s period. I started by researching packaging from that period and then sketched thumbnails for 2 designs. The final designs were created in Adobe Illustrator. I then die-cut and assembled the boxes.
