All is merry and bright with these wee Christmas elves! These mini 'print and cut' boxes make fun Holiday party favors, gift toppers, paper toys and stocking stuffers! Each elf template fits onto a 11" by 8.5" letter sized sheet of card stock that you can print, cut, and assemble at home. Fill them with your favorite small candies. Each box is approx. 3.5" tall by 2" wide at base by 1" deep.
Supplies:
- 2 sheets of white 8.5" by 11" card stock 65lb
- Colour printer
-Strong glue stick/pen or double-sided tape
Step 1: Adjust your registration guides so that the elf design fits within the print area. Print the design with registration marks on to white card stock. Once cut, fold down the 4 sides from the top of the head, crease all the perforated edges and fold the white tabs inwards.
Step 2: Apply glue to tabs 1, 2 and 3.
Step 3: Align the tabs with the front of the head. Hold until dry.
Step 4: The ear should stick out from the back. Apply glue to tab 4 and fold over the side of the cape. Hold until dry.
Step 5: Apply glue to tabs 5 and 6. Align the tabs with the other side of the head. Hold until dry.
Step 6: The front of the hat will stick out slightly from the side. Apply glue to tab 7 and fold over the remaining side.
Step 7: Apply glue to tabs 8,9,10,11,12,13 and 14 along the back of the elf.
Step 8: Fold over the back panel and align the side tabs with the back panel. Hold until dry.
Step 9: Insert your candies through the bottom. Fold in the 2 white tabs and close it by sliding the green tab inside the front of the elf.
Voila! Your little elf is ready to gift or display!
