These cute 'Print and Cut' kitty and puppy boxes make perfect favors for children's birthday parties! Plus using your Silhouette Cameo they only take a few minutes to cut and put together! Please read below for the assembly instructions. Each of these 'Print and Cut' design files can be purchased separately from the Silhouette America Design Store.
DIMENSIONS
Each box is approximately 2" tall, 2" deep and 2.5" wide (excluding the topper)
SUPPLIES NEEDED
- Colour printer & ink
- White 8.5" by 11" Cardstock (65 lb) (1 Sheet per box)
- Glue or tape
- Silhouette Cameo & Mat
Step1: Align the design in your Silhouette Studio software so that it fits inside your registration guides. Next print the design with the registration marks onto white card stock. Select 'card-stock' as the material in your cut settings, Then load your cutting mat with your design into your Silhouette Cameo. Once cut, crease all the sides of the box inwards. Fold the kitty or puppy topper so that it sticks upwards.
Step2: Apply glue or double-sided tape to tabs 1 and 2. Attach these tabs to the bottom of the box. Next apply glue to tabs 3 and 4, attach these tabs to the bottom and side of the box. Hold until dry.
Step3: Insert your goodies! Then pinch together the 2 sides of the the kitty or puppy topper and fold over one of the top tabs so that the slit secures the two toppers.
Step4: Fold over the remaining top tab the same way. Voila! Your birthday box is ready to gift!
