Introducing our mini 'print and cut' backpacks, just in time for back to school! Plus using your Silhouette Cameo it only take a few minutes to cut and assemble. They make fun party favors and lunch box surprises! Fill them with your favorite small candies. Please read below for the assembly instructions. Each of these 'Print and Cut' design files can be purchased separately from the Silhouette America Design Store.
DIMENSIONS
Each bag is approximately 2.75" tall, 2" wide by 2" deep. (*option to scale up slightly)
SUPPLIES NEEDED
- Colour printer & ink
- Strong glue stick or double-sided tape
- White 8.5" by 11" Cardstock (65 lb)
- Silhouette Cameo & Mat
Step 1: Place your design within the registration guides in silhouette studio. You can choose to scale up the design slightly if you wish, so long as it fits within the guides. Print the design with the registration marks onto white card stock. Select 'card-stock' as the material in your cut settings, then load your cutting mat with your design into your Silhouette Cameo. Once cut, crease the perforated edges of the bag.
Step 2: Fold the handle strap to make a tiny half loop, then apply a small amount of glue or tape to the back of the handle. Attach the handle to the top of the blank side of the back panel. Apply a small amount of glue or tape to the tips of both the shoulder straps. Attach these straps to the back panel as well.
Step 3: Apply glue to the white tabs along the bottom and side of the backpack.
Step 4: Align the sides with the bottom and side tabs. Hold until dry.
Step 5: Apply glue to the 2 white tabs on the front of the bag. Align these tabs with the sides of the bag and hold until dry.
Step 6: Apply glue to the tab off the top flap of the bag. Press this tab against the top back edge of the bag. Hold until dry.
Step 7: Insert your goodies! To close the bag slide the two brown straps into the slits at the front of the bag. Voila! Your treat bag is ready to gift!
