Make your own wee 'print and cut' Halloween Vampire box! These make spook-tacular Halloween party favors and children's toys. Fill them with your favorite small candies! Please read below for the assembly instructions. These 'Print and Cut' design file can be purchased from the Silhouette America Design Store.
DIMENSIONS
This Vampire is approximately 3.5" tall, 1" deep and 2.75" wide at base.
SUPPLIES NEEDED
- Colour printer & ink
- White 8.5" by 11" Cardstock (65 lb) (one vampire per sheet)
- Glue Pen orDouble-sided tape
- Silhouette Cameo & Mat
Assembly
Step 1: Print your Dracula template with registration guides onto white card stock. Fold the 4 sections downwards from the top of the head. Crease all the perforated edges along the sides of the head and the front cape.
Step 2: Apply glue using a glue pen or a double-sided tape runner to tabs 1, 2, 3.
Step 3: Align the the side panel tabs with the back panel. Press and hold together until dry.
Step 4: Apply glue to tabs 4, 5, 6. Repeat step 3 on the opposite side of the head.
Step 5: Apply glue to tabs 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
Step 6: Fold down the front panel. Align the side panel tabs with the front head panel. Press together and hold until dry. The ears should stick out of the sides.
Step 7: Apply glue to tab 13.
Step 8: Fold the side panel over tab 13.
Step 9: Apply glue to tab 14.
Step 10: Fold tab 14 under the back panel. Hold until dry. Repeat Steps 7 and 8 on the opposite side. with tabs 15 and 16.
Step 11: Crease the edges of the bottom lid. Apply glue to tab 17.
Step 12: Flip the bottom lid upside down and press tab 17 against the middle section of the front cape panel. Use your fingers to fold the legs out of the way. Hold until dry.
Step 13: Once the lid is dry and securely attached, insert your candies. Fold in the 2 large white tabs on the sides.
Step 14: Tuck in the 2 tiny tabs of the lid underneath the 2 large tabs. Fold the lid closed with the long tab of the lid as the closure.
Step 15: Next crease the edges of the cape collar. On the back of the collar apply a small amount of glue to each of the 3 small bottom tabs.
Step 16: Press the back of the collar against the back and sides of the cape. Hold in place until dry.
Step 17: Gently curl the tips of the collar. If you display your Dracula on a shelf you may
also wish to bend his knees.
Step 18: Voila! Your wee Dracula is ready to gift or to display!
