Make your own print and cut winter foxes! These four handsome foxes are all bundled up and ready for a holiday party! They make festive party favors and stocking stuffers. This kit includes orange, grey, white and brown fox templates. Each fox template fits onto a 11" by 8.5" letter sized sheet of card stock that you can print, cut, and assemble at home. Fill them with small goodies and enjoy! Each fox is approximately 4.5" long, 2.25" wide, 2.5" tall. The opening at the back is approximately 1.5" by 1.5"
Supplies:
-4 Sheets of white 8.5" by 11" card stock 65lb
-Colour Printer
-Extra strong glue stick/pen or double sided tape
Assembly
Step 1: Adjust your registration guides so that the fox design fits within the print area. Print the design with registration marks on to white card stock. Once cut, crease all the perforated edges on the fox body.
Step 2: Apply glue or double sided tape to tabs 1 and 2.
Step 3: Press the tabs against the front of the fox. Hold until dry
Step 4: Apply glue to tabs 3 and 4.
Step 5: Fold the tabs onto the bottom piece of the fox. Hold until dry.
Step 6: Apply glue to tabs 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Step 7: Fold the tabs underneath the chin. Hold until dry.
Step 8: Once the tabs on the chin are fully dry, apply glue to tabs 9 and 10.
Step 9: Fold tabs 9 and 10 underneath the top of the head. Press and hold until dry.
Step 10: Apply glue to the wrong sides of the back of the ears. Sandwich the back and front pieces of both ears. Once dry apply glue to the white areas labelled 11 and 12.
Step 11: Insert the ears on either side of the head so that you can’t see the white area. Hold until dry.
Step 12: Apply glue to the wrong side of the back of the head.
Step 13: Fold down the back of the head and hold until dry.
Step 14: Apply glue to tab 15. Fold tab 15 inward to form the box shape of the body. Hold until dry.
Step 15: Apply glue to the back of the scarf just above the dotted line. Fold the fox head down, it
should meet the dotted line on the back of the scarf.
Step 16: Apply glue to the bottom white tab. Fold this tab over to reinforce the bottom of the box.
Step 17: Bend the tab on the tail as shown and apply glue. Match the tail tab to the other tab labelled 'glue' on the back flap of the fox body.
Step 18: Fold the last 2 white tabs at the back of the fox inwards. Insert your goodies!
After closing the back end, lightly curl the tail. Use your fingers to gently fan out the tips of the cheeks. Voila! Your little winter foxy is ready to gift or to display!
