Make your own 'print & cut' hedgehog gift boxes! They make delightful Christmas favors and gift toppers! Fill them mini chocolate hedgehogs or your favorite candies! Each box is approx. 4.5" long, 2.25" wide, 2.5" tall. The opening at the back is approximately 1.5" by 1.5"
Supplies
- 2 Sheets white 8.5" by 11" card stock 65lb
- Colour printer
-Extra strong glue pen or double-sided tape.
Assembly
Step 1: Adjust your registration guides so that the design fits within the print area. Print the design with registration marks on to white card stock. Once cut, gently crease all the perforated edges. Apply glue to tabs 1, 2 and 3.
Step 2: Align tabs 1, 2 and 3 with the sides of the hedgehog's head. Hold until dry.
Step 3: Apply a small amount of glue to tabs 4 and insert the ears through the slides at the top of the head. Push the tabs against the inside of the head.
Step 4: Apply glue to tabs 5, 6 and 7. Align these tabs with the sides of the hedgehog, following along the curve of the back. Hold until dry.
Step 5: Bend all the tabs along the hedgehog's belly piece inwards.
Step 6: Apply a tiny amount of glue to tab 8.
Step 7: Carefully attach tab 8 to the bottom of the hedgehog, just under the nose. Hold in place until fully dry.
Step 8: Apply glue to tabs 9 and 10. Press and hold the tabs against the underside of the snout. Hold until dry.
Step 9: Apply glue to tabs 11 and 12. Align these tabs with the bottom edge of either side. Hold until dry.
Step 10: Apply glue to tabs 13. Fold up the back and press the tabs against the sides. Hold until dry.
Step 11: Insert your goodies! Close the box by sliding the tab into the slit at the back.
Step 12: Voila! Your little hedgehog is ready to gift or display!
