Make your own 'print & cut' Christmas Owl House treat boxes! These sweet little houses make delightful Christmas party favors. They are also an easy and fun craft to make with kids! Fill them with small goodies and enjoy. The templates include the teal and grey versions of the owl houses. Each owl house is approximately 3" tall, 2" deep and 2.25" wide.
SUPPLIES NEEDED
- Colour printer & ink
- 2 sheets white 8.5" by 11" Card stock (65 lb)
- Glue or double-sided tape
- Thin ribbon
- Silhouette Cameo & Mat
Step1: Align the design in your Silhouette Studio software so that it fits inside your registration guides. Next print the design with the registration marks onto white card stock. Select 'card-stock' as the material in your cut settings, Then load your cutting mat with your design into your Silhouette Cameo. Once cut, fold all the sides of the house inwards.
Step2: Apply glue or tape to the four white tabs and fold up the sides.
Step3: Apply glue to the back of the roof panels and attach them to both top panels of the house.
Step4: Fill with goodies! Lastly thread a thin ribbon or baker's twine through the holes on top of the roof and tie a pretty bow :)
